NICEIC

The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation
Contracting, is a non profit making regulatory body.
Its objective is to protect consumers against unsafe
workmanship
Argus has been an approved contractor since 1992.
and was Ukas accredited in 2002.
We are covered by the NICEIC Guarantee of Standards Scheme,
for the protection of our clients

 

NICEIC Domestic Installer

Contractors are assessed as having the technical
ability to carry out domestic installation work.
Argus has been a Part P Domestic installer since the scheme started in 2004. We are approved to self certify all works.
We have a current NICEIC insurance backed Warranty, for the protection of our clients

TrustMark

Is a Government backed scheme to help consumers find reputable tradespeople to carry out work in their home or garden. Argus is an approved registered company.

CHAS

The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme. Contractors need to demonstrate compliance with, and have sound management of, current health & safety legislation.
Argus has been asscessed and approved as a CHAS Accredited contractor.

Gas Safe

The Gas Safe register is the only official register for Gas Safety in your home or workplace. It has the only official list of gas engineers legally able to perform gas work on boilers, hobs, ovens, fires and all other gas appliances. Argus is registered with Gas Safe.

Local Authority Building Control (LABC) -Register for Competent Person Schemes

A Competent Person is a business that has been adjudged to be sufficiently competent to self-certify that its work complies with Part P of the Building Regulations of England and Wales.
A Competent Person must be registered with a scheme that has been approved by The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
